The following items are not allowed on Sailor. Listings that match these categories are blocked automatically, and users who attempt to sell them may be banned. If you see a listing that violates this policy, please use the Report button on the listing.
Weapons & Firearms
- Firearms, ammunition, and explosives
- Knives and blades prohibited by law
- Tasers and pepper spray (where restricted)
- Replica firearms that could be mistaken for real
Drugs & Illegal Substances
- Illegal drugs and narcotics
- Prescription medicines sold without a licence
- Drug paraphernalia
Counterfeit & Fake Goods
- Fake or replica designer brands
- Counterfeit electronics
- Unauthorised copies of copyrighted material
Stolen Goods
- Any item the seller cannot prove lawful ownership of
- Goods sold without proof of purchase where required
Identity & Personal Documents
- ID books, passports, or driver's licences
- Fake or forged identity documents
- Personal information of others
Hate & Illegal Content
- Hate speech or racist material
- Content that exploits or harms minors
- Non-consensual intimate images
Enforcement: Our system scans listing titles and descriptions for prohibited keywords before they go live. Listings flagged are blocked and the seller is notified.
Reporting: Every listing has a Report button. Reports of prohibited or counterfeit goods are reviewed by our team and may result in listing removal and account suspension.
Legal: Selling prohibited items on Sailor violates our Terms of Service and South African law. We cooperate with law enforcement where required.
